Rebuilding Broken Places Community Development Corporation (RBPCDC) is a 501C3 operating separately from Greenleaf Christian Church with its own Board of Directors, formed in 1996 to provide ministry outside of the walls of the church.

RBPCDC moves families from crisis to stability to growth. In neighborhoods where 20.9% of families live in poverty, we anchor long-term change: a $2.5M HUD-202, 41-unit senior community; the $2M Greenleaf Vision of Faith Community Center; RBP Christian Academy and Childcare Center (RBPCACC), a state-approved 5-Star center; and a 15-home affordable development that has enabled 9 first-time homeowners. This footprint lets us meet urgent needs while building generational momentum.

OUR INITIATIVES

HUNGER - We address hunger through

The WePack program, which sends nutritious weekend food home with students,

Neighborhood pop-ups bring hot meals and connection to where families live,

Seed-to-Plate education and gardens that teach children to grow, cook, and share fresh produce,

Through our Farm-to-Table Sustainable Food Collaborative, where we convene and connect small farmers with community partners; provide training, marketing support, and host farmer spotlights/pop-ups

YOUTH - RBP Christian Academy and Childcare Center(RBPCACC) anchors our youth work.

RBPCACC is a 5-STAR center accepting NC state vouchers and providing reliable, high-quality, early learning for parents, while helping children build school readiness in a safe, stable environment.

We also invest in mentoring, safe-space enrichment, life skills, and kid-led cooking labs tied to our gardens.

Youth learn teamwork, leadership, and healthy habits through hands-on projects and events.

SMALL BUSINESS - We support adults through an entrepreneurship track focused on food-related business owners, coaching on permits and compliance, ServSafe and food safety, menu costing, branding, and pop-up/market readiness, turning skills into steady income.
